Mittels einer Konstruktion aus Weichfaserplatten, Dach- und Doppellatten wird eine Raum in Raum Situation erschaffen, dessen Einlass dem Betrachter nur durch einen schmalen Korridor gewährt wird. Im Innenraum wird durch ein Loch im Installationsboden ein Videobild in Echtzeit an die Raumdecke projiziert. Gezeigt wird die Konstruktionsseite, res-pektive der Raum zwischen realem und installiertem Raum.
Die Resonanz des Installations-Kernraums wird durch das Kühlsystem des Projektors, mittels Kontaktmikrophon über Mischpult und Verstärker intensiviert, wobei die vier Lautsprecher direkt mit ihren Membranenseiten an den Installationswänden, konstruktionsseitig montiert sind.
By means of a soft fiber-board and timber-batton construction, a room-within-a-room situation is achieved, to which the observer is only allowed access through a narrow passage. In the inner space a real-time video image is projected onto the ceiling through an aperture in the floor. Depicted is a view of the space between the original room and the in-stallation construction.
The core-space is made to resonate with the sounds of the video projector‘s cooling system, using contact-microphones, amplified through a mixing desk via four speakers; mounted with their vibrating membranes directly on the construction side of the installation walls.
